Facility Description
Paragon Research Center is located in the heart of San Antonio in Sunset Station by Ruth Chris Steak House and the Alamodome with easy access to all major expressways. The bus and trolley car stop is directly across from our office and the airport is a 5 to 10 minute drive. Parking is available in front of our doors and across the street. Our office environment is more like a home than an office with a cozy window seat and beautiful crystal chandelier. Internet access is provided in the waiting room for our volunteers. Cappuccino, coffee, hot chocolate, juice and light snacks are always available.

Each coordinator has their own private office to meet confidentially with volunteers. The office has 3 floors and 5000 square feet with two private monitoring areas each with data ports, phone lines and copier/fax machine. The medical exam rooms are equiped with calibrated weight scales, EKG machines and calibrated mercurial spygmomanometers for blood pressure assessments. The site provides phlebotomy, oximetry, EKG, NCV, UA, pregnancy test, HgA1C, glucose, CO2 levels, skin biopsies and any protocol required minor surgical procedures.
The lab is CLIA certified and has a calibrated centrifuge, -20 and -70 degree freezer and dry ice is available. The drug storage room has finger print access control and it's own A/C and heater to maintain stable temperature control for the study drug at all times.
